The spokesperson NIC said that COVID-19 Sample collection management system for Rapid Antigen, Antibody and RT-PCR tests is developed by NIC Himachal Pradesh and is being used throughout the country whileas around 10.90 Crore samples have been collected using this system. In addition, 12 Mobile applications have been developed by the District NIC Centres for their respective districts. For 9 States including Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan, JK, Ladakh, Chandigarh, Haryana, HP, Uttarakhand , so far about 70 Apps have been published on Google Play Store. A total of about 136 Apps are proposed to be published. Besides, 477 hours of Video Conferencing sessions were arranged for multiple Departments during the month in about 100 VCs, including Honorable Prime Minister’s VC with Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh. National Informatics Centre, Himachal Pradesh also received “Gems of Digital India Award & Skoch Award-Silver award” for Covid19 Sample Collection Management System developed by it for Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).
