Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today flagged-off ambulance donated by Punjab National Bank for Kupvi block in Chopal area of Shimla district from his official residence Oak Over today.
This ambulance has been donated by the Bank under CSR activity for welfare of the residents of this far flung area through the Chief Medical Officer Shimla.
Chief Minister, while appreciating this philanthropic endeavour of the management of the Bank said that this ambulance would benefit over 16,000 residents of Kupvi area.
Vice Chairman State Disaster Management Authority Randhir Sharma, Deputy Commissioner Shimla Aditya Negi, Chief Medical Officer Shimla Dr. Surekha and representatives of the Bank were present on the occasion among others.
