HP CABINET DECISIONS

The State Cabinet meeting held here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur decided to fill up 200 posts of Ayurvedic Medical Officers in Ayush Department out of these 100 posts would be filled in through direct recruitment and remaining 100 posts on a batchwise basis. This would go a long way in further strengthening the Ayush Department of the State.
It also decided to fill up 100 posts of Ayurvedic Pharmacists in Ayush Department on contract basis. Out of these 100 posts, 52 posts would be filled up through direct recruitment and remaining 48 on a batchwise basis.
The Cabinet decided to open a new Development Block Office at Khundian in Kangra district alongwith creation and filling up of 14 posts of different categories. As many as 20 panchayats would come under this newly created Development Block.
The Cabinet decided to fill up 32 posts of various categories in Panchayati Raj Department for its smooth functioning.
It also gave its approval for filling up six posts of Junior Office Assistant (IT) on contract basis through Himachal Pradesh Staff Selection Commission in State Election Commission.
It gave its nod to fill up 25 posts of different categories in Rural Development for strengthening the office of Project Director, Rural Development office in every district of the State.
The Cabinet gave its approval to open the Labour Division Office and Sub Employment Office at Dharmpur in Mandi district alongwith creation of requisite posts to facilitate the people of the area.
In order to provide an industry friendly environment to the entrepreneurs, the State Cabinet has decided to provide concessions on Electricity Duty to large industrial units in the State.
It gave its ex post facto sanction for raising/ fixing the existing cut off dates 31.3.2022 and 30.9.2022 for regularization of the services of contract appointees, daily waged workers/ contingent paid workers and for conversion of services of part time workers to daily wages.
It decided to create a new patwar circle Sihotu reorganizing patwar circle Voda in Sub Tehsil Sulah in Kangra district to facilitate the people of the area.
It also decided to open a new Block Education Office at Solan by carving it from Elementary Education Blocks of Kandaghat, Dharampur and Kuthar of Solan district alongwith creation and filling up of requisite posts.
The Cabinet gave its nod to open a new Primary School at village Raihan in Education Block Aut.
It also gave its approval to upgrade Primary Health Centre Rampur Bharapur in Sirmaur district to Community Health Centre alongwith creation and filling up of five posts of different categories to manage this centre.
It also decided to open a Health Sub Centre at Kemo in Lahaul-Spiti district and Health Sub Centre at Jabalyan in Bilaspur district to facilitate the people.
The Cabinet gave its consent to upgrade veterinary dispensary Chadna in Sirmaur district to veterinary hospital alongwith creation of three posts of different categories. This would benefit people of over 5 panchayats of the area.
It decided to upgrade veterinary dispensary Haripur in Kullu district to veterinary hospital alongwith creation of three posts. This would benefit over 8 panchayats of the area.
It also decided to open veterinary dispensaries at Devka Pudlla, Kiari and Sambhalka villages in Nahan Vidhan Sabha area of Sirmaur district alongwith creation of requisite posts.
It also decided to upgrade veterinary dispensary Pulbhal in Shimla district to veterinary hospital alongwith creation and filling up of three posts of different categories. This would facilitate people of over three panchayats of the area.
The Cabinet gave its nod to open new Ayurvedic Health Centres at Kilodhar and Sahaj in Mandi district, Ayurvedic Health Centres at village Kararsu in Kullu district alongwith creation and filling up of three posts of different categories in each Ayurvedic Health Centre.
It decided to institute the Lata Mangeshkar Memorial Award for promoting Himachali folk music and culture in the State.
The Cabinet gave its approval for opening a new Public Works Department Division at Chuwari in Chamba district.
The Cabinet gave its approval for designating Shastri Teachers as Trained Graduate Teachers (Sanskrit) in the Elementary Education Department.
It also decided to start science classes in Government Girls Senior Secondary School Bhangrotu in Mandi district to facilitate the students of the area.
The Cabinet decided to upgrade Government High Schools Boholiyon, Neharswar, Tokiyon, Jagla-Bhood and Badthal Madhanna in Sirmaur district and Government High School Malana in Kullu district to Government Senior Secondary Schools.
It also decided to upgrade Government High School Khouli in Mandi district to Government Senior Secondary School, Government Middle Schools, Chulathach and Yourna in Mandi district and Government Middle Schools Piplage and Sarsari in Kullu district to Government High Schools and upgradation of Government Primary Schools, Bihar and Sujaini in Kullu district to Government Middle Schools alongwith creation and filling up of 27 posts of different categories.
The Cabinet gave its approval to open a new Government Degree College at Nauradhar in Sirmaur district alongwith creation and filling up of 18 posts of different categories to man this Degree College.

The Cabinet gave its nod to determine the jurisdiction of newly opened Sardar Patel University Mandi and Himachal Pradesh University Shimla. As many as 137 colleges in Mandi, Kangra, Chamba, Lahaul-Spiti and Kullu district would come under the jurisdiction of Sardar Patel University Mandi whereas 165 colleges of Shimla, Sirmaur, Solan, Kinnaur, Bilaspur, Hamirpur and Una districts would fall under the jurisdiction of Himachal Pradesh University.
It decided to start science classes in Government Senior Secondary Schools, Kulehra and Dhabiri and commerce classes in Government Senior Secondary School, Koharli in Hamirpur district to facilitate the students of these areas.
It also decided to enhance the financial assistance being provided to the Cow Sanctuaries and Gau Sadans from existing Rs. 500 to Rs. 700 per cow per month in Cow Sanctuaries/Gausadans.
