Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has congratulated Piyush Sharma on winning bronze medal in the National Para Table Tennis Championships held in Indore.
Piyush Sharma is the first player from the State to play table tennis on a wheel chair. Presently, he is pursuing higher education on fellowship in Gurugram. He has done B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from NIT Hamirpur.
The Chief Minister said that Piyush Sharma has brought pride to the State. He urged other disabled students of the state to take inspiration from Piyush Sharma in accepting challenges and defying stereotypes. He also represented India at the Para Table Tennis Championships in the Netherlands.
As colour can’t lose its ability to give colour after being broken several times. Similarly, I also can’t unlearn the art of spreading love and smile, after being broken, several times by my life !
